This is how to start an online meeting on Callbridge, narrated by Sara from our Customer Success Team.
As the moderator, make sure you’re logged in to your account and hit Log In.
Once you’re in, hit Start, then choose to join via Internet.
When you’re joining an online meeting for the first time, you’ll get a request to ask you for permission: just make sure you hit Allow to allow access to your microphone
As the first caller, you’ll hear hold music, just like calling via phone. As other people join, you’ll see their tile appear with their name. If they’re joining via phone, you’ll see the beginning of their phone number.
You’ll notice the hold music stops. That is how you join a meeting.
If you would like to turn on the video function, hit the Video icon at the top of your screen, and make sure you have allowed access to that again. When you share your screen for the first time, you’ll be asked to install this extension. Click it – it takes a few moments and then you can get started. You can now share your whole screen.
On the right-hand side, you can click on Chat and open a chat box. You can also see the participant list.
Moderator controls do not appear for your participants but you can mute people and choose to let them mute themselves.
Furthermore, you can also invite people to your meetings by sending an invitation.
When clicking the Record button, you can decide if you want to record solely the audio, or the entire online conference experience including screen sharing and video chat.
Via the tiles or participant list on the right, you can make someone a moderator, and mute/unmute their lines.
When you’re done with your call, click on Hang Up. To disconnect everyone in the meeting, hit End Conference. If you’d like to leave everyone talking, just click Exit Conference.
